Stuart Bates, 43, and his tragic seven-year-old son Fraser died crossing a dual carriageway in Talbot Green, South Wales
A mother whose husband and son were killed by a car as they returned from a Christmas party is launching a charity to promote organ donation.
Stuart Bates, 43, and his tragic seven-year-old son Fraser died crossing a dual carriageway in Talbot Green, South Wales, last weekend.
The pair had been to a Christmas jumper party with distraught Anna-Louise, who was walking behind them when they died.
Little Fraser saved four people’s lives through organ donation - while his corneas will give other people sight.
Manchester United fan Stuart - who was killed instantly in the tragedy - donated tissue after his death.
Last week it emerged the family had become friends with the parents of Teddy Houlston, the UK’s youngest organ donor.

Stuart and Fraser signed up to become donors weeks before their deaths after being inspired by Teddy, who died aged just 100 minutes.
Now Anna-Louise is setting up the charity BELIEVE to encourage other families to discuss their wishes over organ donation.
The 39-year-old, who is also mum to daughter Elizabeth, three, announced the plans at a balloon release in Cardiff.
Anna, also mum to daughter Elizabeth, three, said the family’s religious beliefs had led to the conversation about organ donation.
She said she had taken great comfort in carrying out Fraser and Stuart’s express wishes to help others after their deaths.
